Choose from 3 custom banner materials to suit your stage backdrop needs and budget:

1. Display Polyester (210gsm)

A fabric banner ideal for indoor and outdoor use, soft handle polyester is engineered with crease recovery meaning your backdrop won’t need ironing before every use.

2. Polyester Airmesh (115gsm)

Dye sublimation printed with 90% show-through on reverse. This mesh banner material is air-permeable making it ideal for outdoor banners and stage backdrops.

3. Heavy Polyester Mesh (230gsm)

A thicker, eco-friendly banner option suitable for larger banners and stage backdrops. 100% PVC-free and air-permeable making it ideal for event banners.

Choosing the right size backdrop for your band or event is dependent on the venue your backdrop will be displayed at.

Using a backdrop that is too small will make it difficult for your audience to see your logo or message. However, a backdrop that is suited to stadiums or festivals will look too big and out of place in a small venue.

While we advise you create a banner that is sized to fit the venues you’ll display your backdrop at, here are some typical size guidelines to follow:

Small pubs and clubs: 2.4 metres (wide) x 1.8 metres (height)

Large pubs and small theatres: 3 x 2.4 metres

Concert halls and smaller festivals: 3.6 x 3 metres

Large concert halls, stadiums and festival banners: 6 x 3.6 metres or 12 x 6 metres

Creating the Perfect Stage Backdrop or Band Banner

Follow these 5 design tips to ensure your backdrop or banner looks amazing:

1. Keep it simple & bold – Use large, clear fonts and minimal text to enhance readability from a distance.

2. High-contrast Colours – Opt for colours that stand out against stage lighting to make your branding pop.

3. Use high-resolution graphics – Ensure images are at least 300 DPI for sharp, professional printing.

4. Consider placement & size – Design your backdrop to fit well behind performers without distracting from the action.

5. Branding matters – Include your logo or social handles for better audience recognition.

Using Your Own Artwork?

To help speed up your order process, please make sure your artwork meets these guidelines:

• Images must be at least 50 DPI at print size.
• Ensure logos and text are in vector format
• Send CMYK colour references for accurate color reproduction
• Vector file formats accepted: PDF, SVG, EPS, AI
• Image file formats accepted: PNG, JPG

2. We’ll get in touch to confirm all details and discuss your artwork

3. We will set up your artwork and send it over to you for approval. 

4. Once you approve the artwork, we’ll send you an invoice to pay via card or bank transfer

5. After payment, your custom backdrop will go into production and be delivered within 7 working days
