Artwork Guidelines

We recommend sending over a PDF of your artwork. TIF or AI files are accepted but must be flattened before sending.

If you’re sending images and logos, ensure they align with the guidelines below and send them in JPEG format.

Keep file names short and descriptive to help prevent any mistakes with your artwork.

Always supply full-size files unless your artwork is larger than 4500mm. Any artwork larger than this should be supplied at 10%.

When saving your artwork, include your final size and scale in the file name.

There is a 10mm bleed at full size so keep this in mind when creating your artwork to ensure none of your design is cut off.

All colours should be CMYK or Pantone. We can convert RGB to CMYK but this can cause unexpected results.

We will inform you if we need to convert from RGB to CMYK. You’ll then be able to resend artwork in CMYK or continue with the converted file.

It’s important to be aware that not all printers show colours the same. There may be some slight variation from one supplier to the next.

It’s also worth noting that you may not see an exact colour match compared to what you see on screen. Your screen’s resolution can impact the colour you expect to be printed. E.g. a low-resolution screen is likely to show a duller colour when designing your artwork.

Creams, greys and golds are colours that can print differently from how they look on screen.

We cannot be held responsible for any colour issues due to errors in incorrectly supplied artwork.

Ensure text and fonts are outlined, even on PDF files. Alternatively, you can supply fonts as a packaged folder.

Embed all images before saving. Linked images in a folder are not recommended and could delay the order process.

Please save your artwork using the following DPI guidelines:

• Large format (Over 2 metres) – 75 DPI/PPI
• Medium format (1 – 2 metres) – 150 DPI/PPI
• Small format (Under 1 metre) – 300 DPI/PPI

If you have scaled your file to 10%, ensure your DPI is x10 times higher to compensate.
