Read on to find out how we helped transform Nevada Construction’s site hoardings.

The Project

HYVE by Prime appointed Nevada Construction to develop purpose-built homes for key workers. The site sat on a main road in Truro, with housing, a college, a retail park, and a hospital all nearby. High footfall. High visibility. Lots of eyes on the site every single day.

That kind of location is either a branding opportunity or an eyesore. Nevada Construction wanted it to be the former.

What they needed

With a prominent main road site and a community-focused project, the hoarding signage needed to:

  • Look professional and reflect the quality of Nevada Construction’s brand
  • Tell the story of the project to the local community
  • Advertise the development to future residents and stakeholders
  • Direct people to more information via QR codes
  • Handle a complex site with windows, doors, level changes, and irregular runs

H2 Our full service approach

This is where our full service hoarding signage process came in. We handled everything:

1. Site survey

We visited the site in Truro and produced detailed survey illustrations, measuring the full hoarding run, noting windows, doors, level changes, and any other obstacles that would affect the panel layout.

2. Artwork & Design

We worked with Nevada Construction to produce print-ready artwork that matched their brief. Before going to print, we created mockups so they could see exactly how the finished hoarding would look.

3. Print

62 panels printed on 3mm ACM (Dibond) with an anti-graffiti lamination. Panels were produced at 1220 x 2440mm as standard, with bespoke cuts made to size wherever the site required it. Headers and kickers were included to give the finished run a clean, professional edge.

4. Delivery & Installation

We delivered and installed the full hoarding run on site, handling all the complexity of the irregular layout so Nevada Construction didn’t have to.

Technical site survey mapping out linear lengths from A to M for Nevada Construction's site.

Our site survey mapped out the site, dimensions and any specialist areas to work around.

Digital design mockup showing the full linear layout and a 3D perspective view of the branded hoarding panels for the Nevada Construction site.

We took Nevada’s brief and produced artwork and 3D renders for them to approve.

ACM Dibond panels are printed and cut to size to fit the site survey dimensions.

The finished result

The finished hoarding transformed what could have been an eyesore into a branded, informative, and professional site boundary, complete with QR codes directing passers-by to more information about the development.

With a college, hospital, retail park, and residential housing all within easy reach, the hoarding was seen by thousands of people throughout the project. Every one of them got a clear message about who Nevada Construction are and what HYVE is about.

More than one project

Nevada Construction have been working with Monster Mesh for over five years supplying Heras fence covers and vehicle gate covers for their sites.

This was the first time we worked on hoarding signage together and we couldn’t be happier with how it went.
