The Match
Sunday 26th April 2026. FA Cup semi-final. Leeds United vs Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.
Attendance: 82,542.
It ended 1-0 to Chelsea, but for Leeds fans making the trip down Wembley Way, the occasion was everything a semi-final should be, and the branding around the stadium played its part in making it feel that way.
What Wembley needed
For a match of this scale, the stadium branding around Wembley needs to:
- Represent the competing club – Leeds United colours and branding throughout the approach to the ground
- Build an atmosphere – before a ball is kicked, the visual environment sets the tone for 80,000+ fans.
- Give fans a moment – branded backdrops create natural photo opportunities that end up all over social media
- Hide the infrastructure – barriers and heras fencing are functional but not exactly scenic. Branded covers transform them into part of the occasion
- Handle wind safely – air permeable materials aren’t just preferable, they’re essential for managing wind loading safely across hundreds of panels
What we supplied
310 units of custom printed branding:
- 95 x Airmesh Heras Fence Covers
- 125 x MET Barrier Cover
- 90 x Premium Barrier Covers
All printed in Leeds United branding and manufactured in Airmesh, which allows wind to pass through the material rather than building pressure against the barriers and fencing behind them.
The result
310 branded panels across one of the most recognisable sporting venues in the world. 82,542 fans walked past them. Thousands of fan photos shared online with the branding in the background.
The result on the pitch didn’t go Leeds’ way, but the match day experience looked exactly as it should.
Part of an ongoing partnership
This was one of many projects we’ve delivered for Wembley Stadium across FA Cup matches, League Cup fixtures, playoff finals, and more. Over the years we’ve helped supply Heras fence covers and barrier covers for the likes of Newcastle United, Manchester City, Aston Villa and more. As well as EFL branding for the league’s own fixtures.
Every match brings different club colours, different scale, and the same deadline pressure. We’ve yet to miss one.
